BabyTracker — Privacy Policy

Last updated: 2026-07-26

BabyTracker helps you log feeding, sleep, diaper changes and growth for your baby. This page explains exactly what data that involves.

Data we collect

None. BabyTracker has no account system, no sign-in, and no backend server of our own. The baby profiles and every feeding, sleep, diaper and growth entry you create are stored only in the app's local storage on your device and, if iCloud is available, are synced via Apple's own private CloudKit container between your own devices — DFB Software never receives or has access to this data.

Profile photos

If you choose a photo for a baby's profile, BabyTracker uses Apple's system photo picker (PHPickerViewController), which runs outside the app and only hands back the single image you select — the app never gets broader access to your photo library. The photo is stored the same way as everything else above: locally and, if enabled, in your own private CloudKit container.

Growth reference data

The growth percentile charts use standard WHO and CDC growth reference tables bundled with the app. These are static datasets, not a live service — no data about your baby is sent anywhere to generate them.

Tracking & analytics

BabyTracker contains no third-party advertising SDKs, analytics SDKs, or tracking of any kind. We don't use the App Tracking Transparency framework because we don't track you.

Purchases

BabyTracker offers an optional one-time premium unlock and optional tips, processed entirely by Apple through StoreKit. Payment details are handled by Apple under Apple's own privacy policy — DFB Software never sees or stores your payment information. Premium doesn't unlock any feature that isn't already free — it's an optional way to support development.
